Improving sustainability without compromising the building's design

Following the refurbishment of Charter House, the objective was to reduce the building's carbon footprint and improve environmental performance. The challenge was to introduce renewable energy generation in a way that complemented the building's appearance while maximising the potential of the available roof space.

A bespoke in-roof solar PV system

Nuvolt designed and installed a bespoke in-roof solar PV system integrated directly into the building's roof structure. The system was tailored to the building's dimensions, creating a seamless finish while generating renewable electricity on-site and reducing reliance on grid energy.

The completed installation helps Charter House generate renewable energy on-site while supporting its wider sustainability objectives.
